The FCC-certified wireless power module continues to gain industry recognition as it advances toward high-volume commercial deployment.
Mount Pearl, NL, August 04, 2026: Solace Power’s FCC-certified Nova through-glass power and data module has been named a finalist for the Network X Awards’ Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) Solution of the Year for the second consecutive year.
The winners will be announced during the Network-X Awards Reception Dinner on October 14, 2026 at the Museum of Applied Arts (MAK) in Vienna.
Designed for integration into outdoor customer premise equipment (CPE), Nova wirelessly delivers power through windows, enabling residential and commercial subscribers to install the equipment without drilling or professional installation.
By removing the traditional trade-off between network performance and installation simplicity, Nova helps operators reduce deployment costs while expanding FWA coverage and network capacity.
"Being recognized as a finalist for the second year in a row reflects both the progress we have made and the growing interest in technologies that simplify FWA deployment," said Neil Chaulk, CEO of Solace Power. "Nova has evolved from an innovative concept to a commercially available module that helps operators expand coverage, improve network performance, and improve the subscriber installation experience. With commercial product integration underway, our team is excited to see that momentum grow."
“The next phase of FWA growth will depend as much on deployment economics as network performance," said Colin Ryan, COO and CFO of Solace Power. "Nova helps operators lower the cost of connecting new subscribers while improving the return on their existing network investments, making large-scale expansion more commercially attractive."
The FWA Solution of the Year category recognizes technologies that significantly improve the deployment, performance, or economics of fixed wireless access networks. This year's finalists include Bouygues Telecom, MediaTek, SoftAtHome, TCL, and Solace Power.
